Overnight Oats

It's fall 🍂 and the delicious pear 🍐is in season. Pears aren't just great for weight-loss, they also cleanse and purify the liver. They act as an antispasmodic, help to soothe the linings of the stomach and help with acid reflux and high cholesterol.

Overnight Oats with Red Pears🥄

1/2 cup of Old Fashioned Oats 1/2 cup of almond (vanilla, unsweetened) milk or regular milk 1 red pear (chopped) 1/8 tsp vanilla extract 1/4 tsp maple syrup or honey 🍯 1/2 tbsp chopped walnuts

Combine all (except pears) ingredients in a mason jar, stir or shake until evenly mixed. Store in fridge for at least 12 hours. Add your pears. Heat in microwave for 45 seconds. I don't recommend heating for longer than 45 seconds if you're heating it up in a mason jar.

If you don't have a mason jar with lid, you can also use a regular glass or bowl and cover with a small plate.
